Baby memory books make it easy to keep track of all the fun stories and memories you share in your baby's first year, plus you can share it with the fam!

I am the absolute worst scrapbooker/journal keeper in the world, so it's kind of ironic I'm writing a post about Baby Memory Books.
I think I have journaled like 4 times in my life. I completed my daughter's first-year book when I was designing scrapbook kits and that died out after I had my second son.
Sorry, Max…you really are the middle child. My husband took it upon himself to make the kids books and that's perfectly fine with me.
I did make a Grandkids Book once, and I call that a win. (You can get that printable HERE, by the way).
But for the most part, I liked writing out random little quotes or stories that I knew I NEEDED to remember.

Why you need these Baby Memory Books
These Baby Memory Books are super easy…plus they're free, so no more excuses…except maybe the fact that you just had a baby and you're EXHAUSTED!
But take it from me…once you don't have babies anymore, you're going to FORGET EVERYTHING. My husband and I will say a phrase one of our kids used to say and half the time we can't remember which kid it is.

So, when you feel like you're not going to die from lack of sleep, print off a Baby Memory Book Page and write down something simple that happened that day.
Only maybe don't be like me and write it so you have to decode it later. Once again…
SLEEP DEPRIVED.
One thing you might notice is that I don't have a "Baby's Firsts" section. You can write those down yourself…but since I had two kids with language delays…those firsts could be a painful reminder.
And for my kids, at least, those language delays haven't affected them in school. So my Baby Memory Books are filled with fun stories and quotes…not benchmarks that may or may not determine if my kids will get into college.
By the way, if you have a child with a language delay, check out my Inside Out Emotions Game – it was super helpful when my kids were younger!

Tip: Tape Pictures To The Pages With Washi Tape

My kids are all out of the baby stage now…and I'm actually totally okay with that. I loved my babies, but I love the stage they're in even more now.
I mean, I could totally use a few more snuggles. My youngest sometimes obliges, but it was really nice to have a smooshy baby to cuddle up to whenever I wanted.
But I think I like sleep more, so I'm perfectly content reminiscing to the things I actually wrote down in my Baby Memory Books.
