Biography

A Link to the Past

FortuneTeller.gif

In A Link to the Past, three Fortune Tellers can be found in both the Light and the Dark World. One can be found north of Kakariko Village, another one next to the Lake Hylia Shop, and a third one north of the Village of Outcasts. By paying between 10 and 30 Rupees, the Fortune Teller can give Link advice on how to proceed in his adventure. Link's Hearts are also fully refilled.

Twilight Princess

Main article: Madame Fanadi

Madame Fanadi can be found in Fanadi's Palace in Hyrule Castle Town, where she offers fortunes for 10 Rupees each. These will either hint to Link where his next destination should be or where a Piece of Heart can be found, depending on whether "Career" or "Love" is chosen.

A Link Between Worlds

The Fortune-Teller from Hyrule is located north of Kakariko Village in A Link Between Worlds. He gives Link the Hint Glasses used to find the Hint Ghosts. Another Fortune-Teller can be found north of Thieves' Town in Lorule.

Breath of the Wild

About 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild, shortly after Princess Zelda was born, a Fortune-Teller trusted by the Royal Family predicted the resurrection of Calamity Ganon. The Fortune-Teller mentioned also that the power to oppose Calamity Ganon lay dormant beneath the ground. In response, King Rhoam ordered the excavation of large areas of land. Thus, the Divine Beasts and the Guardians were discovered. The Fortune Teller's identity and their fate after Ganon's return are unknown.[2] [3]

Other Appearances

Ancient Stone Tablets

The Fortune-Teller finds the Hero of Light when he arrives to Kingdom of Hyrule in Ancient Stone Tablets. He, alongside Aginah, gives hints on the weather and effects that happen during each week.

Cadence of Hyrule

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Main article: Astor

Astor is a Fortune-Teller, referred to by the Yiga Clan leaders as "Seer" and "Prophecy Man".[4] [5] Through means such as Harbinger Ganon he is able to observe the Great Calamity before its occurrence and works to bring it into existence. However, due to the interference of Terrako, this future is ultimately averted and he is consumed by Harbinger Ganon to fuel its transformation into Calamity Ganon.

Trivia
