They are much prettier than the solid gray ones I used in the past but you can see what they looked like after scratching them with a coin. I personally think they made an ugly mess on the card. In addition, I had to REALLY scrape hard to get it off. I was afraid it was going to rub a hole through the card. These really work! They come in a roll, are easy to remove and then stick onto whatever paper or card stock. They scratch off with just the right amount of pressure so as to not get easily scratched, but not require so much pressure that you damage the paper underneath them.
